I cannot get a particular line out of my head, whether it was meaningless or not. While asking you what your plans were for when I leave to visit my parents for the better part of a week you said, “I don’t know, get dope…”
Though I’m sure it had little meaning behind it, it infuriated me. It also made me scared to leave, to let you be alone. We’ve been through so much between moving constantly and your slow road to getting clean. It just rudely reminded me that drugs will always be a part of your life, it’s part of who you are as a person. So, drugs will always be there, whether it be in a minor manner or major one.
He’s just done so well and made it so far.
